About Us

At CREATE,
we seek to unleash and nurture our ‘one wild life,’
the very source of our creativity,
in response to Mary Oliver, the Poet's profound question,
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one Wild and Precious life?
By drawing on Ancient Wisdom and today’s Physics, we are discovering ways to enrich creativity as we liberate ourselves from oppressive ways of being and collaborate with others in radically regenerating ways of being where heart centered qualities of love, compassion, and caring flourish. Knowing we are inextricably interconnected energetically with one another, nature, and the Cosmos is key to our liberation and creativity.

2023

In the Fall of 2023, we will be sharing a blog titled, ‘Participatory Imagination,’ highlighting dynamic connections between heart, body, imagination, and creativity.

2024

We are currently developing events and programs to launch in 2024 about ‘Participatory Imagination.’

CREATIVE IMAGINATION
THE HEART is the source of our CREATIVE IMAGINATION.
We need to listen to our heart, to feel its presence within us, to recognize its voice.

Janice E Sealey

BScN MEd PhDc - Creative Director

Janice E. Sealey is Founder & CEO at CREATE corporation STUDIOS. She is passionate about creating and nurturing a flourishing, peaceful world through the secret language of the heart.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, University of Windsor, a Master’s of Education, Brock University. She has completed studies and final exams for a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Higher Education, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. She is currently balancing PhD Studies in Higher Education with the beauty and depth of Wisdom Studies at Ubiquity University, a balance she holds as being invaluable as a contemplative educator. Through her doctoral work she is exploring the relationship between the human heart and imagination by drawing on ancient wisdom, philosophy, and neuroscience.

Being licensed as a HeartMath® Certified Resilience Advantage™ trainer, Janice has the privilege of integrating HeartMath® research and technology with CREATE13 Studio initiatives. Dynamic research at HeartMath® cultivates heart qualities of care, compassion, love, courage, gratitude, dignity, and kindness integral to us participating in a shift to a new paradigm, a new way of being in the rapidly and radically changing world we experience today. Each of these heart qualities is essential for developing and embodying emotional resilience and inspiring creativity.

Through a ‘Dream Tending’ certificate course offered by Stephen Aizenstat PhD, Janice is advancing her understanding of deep imagination.

Janice enjoys integrating her studies fully with her life as an educator,  reviewer of academic journal articles, as  a woman, wife, sister, aunt, friend, gardener, gourmet cook, and, of course, as mother of beautiful Samoyed dogs!

Documenting her life and educational experiences through writing, photography, painting, and music is her joy.
